THIS IS THE GOOD LIFE....

Holy Talido I have not updated my blog in a long time! Facebook has gotten the best of me! Well brace yourself. Get a warm blanket, eye glasses, some hot cocoa and get ready to enjoy some stories!

Hailey has started Kindergarten! That's right my baby girl is in school! We put her in afternoon because my mornings are always crazy and she loves it. Her brothers pick her up at the end of the day and they meet me for a ride home. She also started taking hip hop dance @ The Edge with Irene as her teacher! She loves it and ask my every day is it friday so I can go to dance. She has a thing for her teachers son and I am okay with that!!!! BAHAHAHAHA!

Awsten just signed up for Flag Football. He is super excited to get out there and show us his moves. He is in 2nd grade this year and LOVES his teacher. He is above level for reading which is crazy great since he struggled the past two years. He is spelling words that are WAY LONG and loves it!

Braxton is playing tackle football for Youth Football USA. He is loving the sport more then anything. He practices three times a week and between that, 3rd grade school work, and Scouts that kids is crazy busy. He has earned a ton of "belt" awards and loves scouts. I think scouts is creepy but hey whatever floats the boat!

Cameron, well he got laid off from Pawn Plus because well (my mom said if I have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all ) so that conversation will end there. A individual came to Cameron and asked for him to start up another Title Loan store in Utah so Cameron is doing this. It is called In-N-Out title loans and he is so excited! We are just waiting on the states license to go crazy and build it huge!

I have found a new obsession, Cross Fit!!! I get to go 3 times a week and we have great trainers who have gone above and beyond to make us have big results. This last year as all of you know I have gone through HELL and so I really needed this year to make it all about me. Finding out who I am and let go of the past. With the past comes weight from losing babies. I feel like I have begun to find that person again. I have been accomplishing big things in Crossfit and one of them is losing my tummy (thats a big deal) not for the weight issue but because that was my constant reminder. Not only that but Charity and I have made some amazing friends in Crossfit. We have gotten to know people not only on a fitness level but personal level and spend weekends just laughing all hanging out. Cameron says it crazy to see the role reversal or the confidence growth. The smiles are back! My trainers Ryan Neilsen, T. Chad Baird, and Ryan Dana (lil Ryan) have all been so sweet at acknowledging my progress - I wish there was a way I could express my gratitude to the fullest to each one of them. Each day of training is another step closer to shedding a layer of past and that is so rewarding.

Well now, to the not so hot news... My beautiful grandpa has been having some chest pain. I try to visit him weekly and have slacked off with school and life but that man and I have become very close. I even have gotten him to start talking like me!!!! HA HA! I realize we are soooo much alike and I couldnt be more excited because he is a great man to be like. Anyhow, he went to the hospital this last monday and found out that he will be needing a quadruple bypass and will have it this coming Monday. The doctor informed us today that he will also need to replace his main artery so he got a little scared. When people left his room today he shed a tear which broke my heart. When my grandma walks in the room he lights up like a little boy! I make sure each time I leave he knows how much I love him and he tells me he appreciates that cuz he knows I dont like thank yous! He is the best Grandpa ever and we are so honored to be in his presence daily!

below are just random funness of pictures!!!!

  1. "I think scouts is creepy" LOL I love you Jen :D SO glad you have found crossfit and good friends to help you through the pains of life. I just want you to know that you always make me giggle with your posts. I love that you are so genuinely yourself...not fake at all. I love that you say exactly what is on your mind. We need more people like that in the world. I hope all goes well for your grandpa. I know how much I loved my own grandpa and how much he meant to me in my life. Love ya girl! This is Kelli btw. My blog has nothing on it :D
